From what little I understand of the upcoming two-parter "Save Royal Woods", the thing seems to feature a one-note, one-dimensional villain who hates the town because she isn't lit inside or some blasted thing. It doesn't matter that there's no way that a proposal like flooding the town for great justice would make it off the drawing board. No hint that the idiots proposing it would be laughed off or sued into a ball of dirt. We have to have a cartoon monster with a cartoon plan to do something that will somehow be Lincoln's fault because the writing staff is comprised of mutants, idiots and circus animals geeked on PCP whose idea of a civics less is to have Leonard's mom be a Scooby-Doo villain in all but name. The only enjoyment is seeing just how bad it is.

Yeah. Saw the live-action Loud House thing and found myself in familiar territory: Lincoln getting outnumbered and being made to feel like a fool and an idiot and being asked to go along to get along. Granted, it would make more sense to compromise and have Lily light up the tree when she knew what was going on and he could always videochat Clyde from Miami but, well, losing all the time brought out the jerk in him again. Feeling left out brought out the conniving idiot everyone can see through. At no point does anyone stop to think about what having to get along to go along does to his ability to trust people.

If you were paying attention to the crap Sprout was saying during his sleazo caudillo speech, you'll have noticed something that the producers were sliding by us: the word "DISCORD" appearing at random intervals. Since they've forgotten their history, the ponies had no clue what...or WHO that meant. My guess is that if there is a recurring antagonist, it's gonna be someone bored with playing nice and playing it subtle just to switch things up. This means that the new Mane 5 are going to keep running into dummies like Sprout making a mess of things and not realizing that they're playing into someone's talons. Before the speech, he just looked like a momma's boy who was too smug and stupid and needy to question what he was taught. Now, he looks like a moron being used as a chess piece.
